Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Notary123.com, including browsing the directory, submitting notary requests, and listing a practice as a member. By using the site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Notary123 is a directory and lead-referral service. We are not a law firm, an escrow or title company, and we are not a party to any notarial transaction between a client and a notary.

Members are responsible for the accuracy of their own listings — contact details, service areas, commission information, languages, and availability. You must hold any commission, license, or appointment required to perform the services you advertise in your jurisdiction.

Paying for a listing — basic or featured — verifies account creation and payment only. It is not a credential, background check, bond, insurance, or quality rating of any member, and should not be represented as one. We may remove listings that misrepresent credentials, availability, or service areas.

• Listing fees are charged at the rates shown at checkout for the plan and country you select. Featured plans cost more and receive higher placement where you are listed.
• Discount codes are applied at checkout and are only valid for the uses, plans, and expiration dates we specify.
• Listings are annual and remain active for the paid term. We may notify you before a listing expires; it is your responsibility to keep your listing active if you wish to remain in the directory.
• Fees are non-refundable except at our discretion (for example, a clear platform error in the first days of a term).

• Client requests submitted through the site are offered to members as paid leads. A lead grants you the client's contact details and request information so you can follow up directly — it does not guarantee the client will hire you.
• Leads are purchased with your lead balance. Balance top-ups are charged to your payment method and are non-refundable once a purchase is made, except at our discretion.
• Old leads are periodically removed from the system, so download or record any lead details you want to keep.
• You may not resell, republish, or spam clients with lead information. Contact clients only about their actual request.

Members who refer new notaries to Notary123 may earn a commission when the referred member completes a paid signup. Commissions, payout methods, and eligibility are described in the affiliate portal at the time you participate.

Referral commissions may be denied for fraudulent, self-referred, or cancelled signups. You may not claim to be an employee or official representative of Notary123 when promoting your referral link.

Clients submit requests at their own discretion. We pass request details to notaries who serve the requested area, but we do not verify the identity, legitimacy, or intent of any requester, and we do not guarantee any notary will respond.

Any arrangement — pricing, scheduling, service quality — is strictly between the client and the notary. Notary123 receives no part of the notary fee for the notarial work itself.

• Do not submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information in a listing or a client request.
• Do not scrape, harvest, or bulk-export site content or member data without written permission.
• Do not impersonate another person or business, or use the site in violation of any notarial law or regulation.
• Do not interfere with the site's operation or attempt to bypass payment for any feature.

The Notary123 name, logo, design, and site content are owned by us or used with permission. Member listings remain the property of the member. By submitting content (photo, bio, listing details) you grant us the license needed to display it on the site and in our marketing of the directory.

The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that leads or clients will result in business.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Notary123 is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

We may suspend or remove listings and accounts that violate these Terms. You may stop using your account at any time; listing fees already paid are not prorated.

We may update these Terms; continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
